North Tyneside Private Landlords Service (NTPLS) has been established by North Tyneside Council in association with private landlords who own or manage property in the Borough.
In North Tyneside we recognise that a well-run and better informed private rented sector benefits the whole of our Borough.
The aims of the service are:
- To improve standards of housing in the private rented sector.
- To assist landlords in developing good management practice.
- To assist landlords in selecting good, responsible tenants.
- To help create more sustainable tenancies.
- To assist in the regeneration of our Borough
