Hello everyone,

I am very new to letting property so forgive me for what may be very obvious questions to you. This Thursday my tenants eviction order expires ( non-payment of rent and refuse issues)which was set for 8 weeks. They had informed me a few days ago that they still have not found alternative accommodation. How do I force this through a court please?

Give Pebble a ring on 0207 354 3080. I've spoken to them in the past and they were very helpful. Tell them you got their number from Netrent and the advice is free

I would suugest that you speak to your local court where you would have issued proceedings for eviction who may say that you should instruct bailiffs.

I am a trusting landlord, and a long term tenant with a pregnant wife and a child stopped paying me months ago and I never noticed.
I have served two weeks notice and will get posession in due course under ground 8- owes 2 months rent.
This tenancy includes heating and council tax and internet (we look after our tenants). AS I am alrady a fool, I dont want to be more so so I cut off the internet, put the council tax in his name, and chopped the central heating pipes (hot water still free), and provided sufficient convectors which use electricity through a meter he has to pay for. Make sense to you? Well not to the council who have ordered me to reinstate the central heating. Over my dead body. Will it be christmas in Risley remand centre ? Will keep you posted.
