Subject: over zealous council environmental/officers

I am a trusting landlord, and a long term tenant with a pregnant wife and a child stopped paying me months ago and I never noticed.
I have served two weeks notice and will get posession in due course under ground 8- owes 2 months rent.
This tenancy includes heating and council tax and internet (we look after our tenants). AS I am alrady a fool, I dont want to be more so so I cut off the internet, put the council tax in his name, and chopped the central heating pipes (hot water still free), and provided sufficient convectors which use electricity through a meter he has to pay for. Make sense to you? Well not to the council who have ordered me to reinstate the central heating. Over my dead body. Will it be christmas in Risley remand centre ? Will keep you posted.

You seem surprised that the council have ordered you to reinstate the central heating. Ask yourself this question - if it was YOUR pregnant daughter would you be OK with the fact that her landlord had cut off her central heating during the coldest spell in 20 years ??????????

Well misternick all I can say is that it is landlords like you that give the whole industry a bad name. You might be a trusting landlord but that doesn't make you a good landlord or even a good businessman. You state that you hadn't noticed the tenants had stopped paying - just how crap a landlord are you? Your spiteful, nasty and dangerous retaliation seems designed to harm even an unborn child and when, quite rightly, the council says repair the damage you have caused you act like a petulant child saying no and a drama queen pondering Christmas in Risley. In my opinion, based on your own post, you're a bloody idiot who deserves what hassle you're getting. Please keep us posted though.....

I am appalled that you can think this is reasonable response to your inadequacies as a landlord. You should be ashamed
