Why are house prices around the capital’s tube stations falling?

House prices surrounding London’s tube stations have fallen by an average of -2% since the start of the pandemic. A little over a year ago, close proximity to a tube station was high on the wish list for many living and working in the capital.

New research by lettings and estate agent, Benham and Reeves, has revealed that working from home has caused a shift in priorities for London homebuyers, with many now not placing the once loved tube stop on their property wish list.
