UK rents are rising at the fastest pace since 2008, with strong demand outstripping supply, according to the latest Rental Market report from Zoopla.
Data released by the property website revealed that average UK rents have risen 4.6% on the year at the end of September, following a 3% climb during Q3 as tenants returned to city centres and demand for rental property strengthened around the country. London saw 6% growth – the highest level in 14 years.
