Housing secretary Michael Gove has suggested renters will be given extra help as he confirmed PRS reforms are going ahead.
He returned to his job, which includes ‘levelling up’, last week under new Prime Minister Rishi Sunak after leaving briefly under former PM Liz Truss.
Before leaving post in July, he launched the Renters Reform White Paper, a radical shake-up of the PRS, which includes abolition of Section 21 ‘no fault evictions’ and an end to blanket bans on benefit tenants.
